Piazzolla’s family invited Omar to play his Bandoneon, 25 years after his death. It was the first time the Bandoneon was played. Omar spent the afternoon sharing with the family, playing the bandoneon, looking at manuscript scores from Piazzolla’s compositions and the piano on which he used to compose.
